Job Description
Commencement date of appointment: 1 April,2026
Probation period: 3(Three) to 6(Six) months
Working style: Full-time
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:15 (Lunch break:12:30-13:30)
Overtime available
Benefit:
Monthly Salary (determined based on experience and ability)
Holidays (Saturdays, Sundays, and Embassy closed days, 21 days a year (2026))
Overtime and travel allowances available
After the probational period, paid off and health insurance are available
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping at Ambassador’s Official Residence in Nakasero
- Managing and Checking house infrastructure working properly
- Preparations and services for official lunch, dinner
- Handling official receptions/events
- Procurement and inventory Management of official goods/items
- Driving official car if needed
- Responding to other requests/tasks by supervisor and other staff
Requirements
- Having knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance
- Experience of servicing at hotel or restaurant and having good hospitality skills
- Experience of team management
- Communication skill in English
- Computer skills and proficiency in office computer tools especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Capacity to overtime work if needed
- Being able to work in a team with other staff members and to comply with laws and regulations
