Job Description

The Senior Medical Sales Representative will drive pharmaceutical sales within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and achieving sales targets. The role requires a strategic, self-motivated, and professional individual capable of promoting products, providing market insights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Drive pharmaceutical product sales by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and distributors.
  • Identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare providers.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company’s portfolio.
  • Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to implement promotional campaigns and educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to support clients, attend conferences, and expand market coverage

Requirements, Qualifications and Competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including distribution channels, regulatory requirements, and customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other basic computer tools
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
  • Willingness to travel and work anywhere within the assigned region
