Job Description

To provides daily, accurate insights on business direction by planning and driving MI processes, interpreting financial and non-financial performance for Retail and Business Banking, and continuously reviewing operational cost efficiencies, while maintaining regular collaboration with other bank units.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Development and Implementation of the Retail and Business Banking performance Management process, working with the Segment Heads to translate/relate business objectives into role specific performance plans for our people.
  • Ensure that data intelligence models and tolls are designed for monitoring and are applied as well as adopted.
  • Embed the importance of data Integrity, Quality and Governance.
  • Analyze data for Retail and Business Banking and Provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and evaluate improvements in performance and present in a compelling and coherent manner
  • Provide Business intelligence information and recommendation to Leadership.
  • Champion initiatives across Retail and Business Banking via relevant MI and data generation.
  • Planning, organizing and controlling the data analytics reporting framework.
  • Develop self-serving dashboards.
  • Automate all manual spreadsheets and processes to improve internal customer experience and improving reporting TAT.
  • Develop new data solutions including data marts, MI and Analytical models.
  • Projects and Initiatives lead.
  • Work closely with the analytics team to deliver exceptional business performance through the provision of first-class insights and recommendations as well as business improvement initiatives.
  • Share best practise with, and provide feedback to, other members of the Analytics team on all business and people related issues, climate and local development and initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships, influence and motivate team leaders to ensure their wholehearted commitment to effective application of performance management
  • Timeliness and accuracy of customer-related MI reports (e.g., TAT adherence).
  • Improvement in customer experience metrics supported by MI insights (e.g., reduction in complaints, improved service SLAs).
  • Number of actionable insights provided that lead to enhanced customer service processes.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction score from Retail and Business Banking teams.
  • Reduction in service-impacting errors due to improved data quality and reporting
  • Understand technical/regulatory matters affecting the business. Ultimate responsibility for continuing compliance.
  • Completion of annual learning and development targets (technical, leadership, and analytical skills).
  • Participation in cross-functional projects or initiatives beyond core responsibilities.
  • Adoption of new tools, systems, or analytical methodologies to improve MI effectiveness.
  • Feedback score from line manager and key stakeholders during performance reviews.
  • Demonstrated improvement in efficiency, decision-support quality, or innovation over the review period
  • Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time by the Bank.

Requirements, Qualifications and Competences

  • University degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, (Essential)
  • Data Engineering or Data Science related certifications [Essential].
  • Experience in programming and data mining (Essential)
  • Excellent understanding of Retail and Business Banking products & services
  • Delivering concise analysis sourced from a considerable volume of data.
  • Highly accurate assessments to ensure effected business decisions are robust.
  • The role holder will be responsible for making presentations to RBB Leadership and Pan Bank stakeholders.
