Job Description

The key purpose is to coordinate and implement sales execution and trade marketing activities in outlets that offer beer and soft drinks in urban areas, with the aim of driving sales and maintaining as well as developing relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • National and regional trade marketing promotions and programs are executed, monitored and reported according to set standards

  • Additional sales are negotiated with customers, which offer both, beer and soft drinks in urban areas

  • Order requirements by brand/pack type are determined against stock levels and targets

  • Competitor activities in other urban outlets are analyzed and reported

  • Business advice is given to the customers, Drive product availability with full product portfolio as per TSP guidelines /IRVP

  • Relationships with customers’ staff are maintained and developed

  • Visit routes and customer visits are consequently prepared, Visit POCS and drive call compliance and call effectiveness

  • Execution improvement proposals are generated and, after approval, are implemented

  • Local/national events opportunities are identified and supported in the allocated area

  • New volume opportunities are identified and addressed appropriately

  • Ensure NBL products are well executed with proper display at Back of Bar.

  • Customer database is accurate, completed and updated

  • Outlets are assessed against guidelines

  • Outlet performance and needs are evaluated

  • Initiate trade development plans and cascade to the sales manager for implementation

  • Investment requirements (merchandising) are aggregated for budget input

  • Maintain and safeguard all company assets in the trade, Coolers, Brand houses, signages, vehicles, phones and laptops

  • Promotors are selected, contracted and managed

  • Drive market share in a given Territory

  • Achievement of sales and volume target/Sell out

  • Promote Digital Transformation agenda, Bees Buyers, Bees share, Bees Force and ensure compliancy.

  • Compile daily, weekly, Monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit to management

  • Monthly KPI report

  • Competitor activity report

  • Ensure outlet records are well captured and demonstrated in Outlet Record Books.

  • Orientated to team and success

Requirements

  • Graduate in Sales, Marketing Business Administration or related Fields.

  • Diploma in marketing/business field will be an added advantage

  • 1 to 2 years Sales & Marketing experience in the Soft Drinks or FMCG Industry

  • Good knowledge of distribution processes, costs, optimization solutions

  • Good knowledge of distributors’ environment in allocated area

  • Budgeting and process techniques know-how

  • Commercial competence

  • Drivers Licence
