Job Description

The IT Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, ensuring network and data security, and supporting end-users across the organization. This role involves both day-to-day IT operations and participation in digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and applications.

  • Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, internet connectivity, and wireless networks.

  • Ensure IT assets (computers, printers, mobile devices) are properly managed and inventoried.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues.

  • Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security in Active Directory, email, and other platforms.

  • Support the rollout of new IT solutions, applications, and system upgrades.

  • Enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection compliance.

  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT procurement, maintenance, and support.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of proven experience in IT support, system/network administration, or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.

  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, system setup, and IT service management tools.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practice.

  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM systems, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and database administration is an advantage.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.

  • Experience in ICT support within a corporate or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong customer-service orientation and teamwork mindset.
