Job Description
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for anchoring the digital marketing activities and online customer service of FINCA Uganda while strengthening the institutions brand presence, loyalty and awareness. She/He will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring FINCA Uganda’s digital marketing campaigns across all digital platforms to drive engagement, lead generation and business growth.
Responsibilities
Designing and overseeing all aspects of digital marketing, including the marketing database, email campaigns and digital advertising initiatives.
Managing and regularly updating FINCA Uganda’s website to ensure relevance, accuracy and optimal user experience.
Leading online digital lead generation initiatives and track performance outcomes.
Planning, managing and growing FINCA Uganda’s Social Media Platforms across all relevant channels.
Developing, integrating and managing digital Chatbots to enhance online customer engagement and service delivery.
Establishing and managing online strategic partnerships to support brand visibility and growth
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns aligned with organizational objectives.
Optimizing content for the website and social media platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, WhatsApp and other digital channels
Monitoring website traffic flow, analyzing performance metrics and preparing regular internal performance reports.
Attending networking events, activations and product launches to support brand visibility.
Identifying emerging digital marketing trends and ensuring that FINCA Uganda remains ahead of the industry developments.
Managing search engine optimization (SEO) of website pages to improve visibility and ranking.
Editing, publishing and managing videos, podcasts, and audio content across digital platforms
Promoting FINCA Uganda’s products and services across the digital ecosystem
Executing social media initiatives to improve key performance indicators (KPI), including reach, engagement, likes, shares and interactions.
Creating and executing SMS, and email-based marketing campaigns to support products promotion and customer engagement.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration and proven experience in digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google ads, X ads and Meta ads.
2 year’s work experience in a similar role.
Digital Marketing skills (Content generation and Integration)
Ability to manage corporate socials
Excellent at shooting events and content creation
Excellent communication and presentations skills.
Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Strong organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative
Good multitasking capabilities and a team player.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
