Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all digital marketing efforts to boost Enjobe Safaris online presence, drive traffic to our website, and increase booking conversions. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

 

The ideal candidate is familiar with digital marketing tools, SEO, social media, email marketing, and online advertising platforms. They are capable of working both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality campaigns that engage audiences, improve brand visibility, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.
  • Identify key digital channels for promotion, including social media, email campaigns, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and content marketing.
  • Analyze competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging content such as posts, videos, reels, and infographics to promote tours, packages, and brand initiatives.
  • Monitor social media performance, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages promptly, and foster community engagement.
  • Write and manage website content, blog posts, travel guides, and promotional materials to enhance the company’s online presence.
  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and designed to convert visitors into inquiries or bookings.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to produce visually appealing marketing content.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Monitor website analytics, identify areas for improvement, and implement technical SEO solutions.
  • Create SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic and supports conversion goals.
  • Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and other relevant platforms.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with the sales/reservations team to align promotional campaigns with available packages and pricing.
  • Design, schedule, and manage email campaigns for current and potential clients.
  • Maintain and segment mailing lists for targeted campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize based on open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Monitor website traffic, social media metrics, and campaign performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and other tracking software.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use data to inform marketing strategies and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Monitor the company’s online presence, including review sites, forums, and social media mentions.
  • Respond professionally to customer feedback and inquiries.
  • Work with the team to address negative reviews and highlight positive testimonials.
  • Collaborate with sales, reservations, and operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business goals.
  • Work with designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy meetings to generate innovative ideas.

Requirements, Qualifications and Competences

  • 2+ years of prior experience in digital marketing, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing tools, and social media management platforms.
  • Strong copywriting, content creation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with web design platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace) is a plus.
  • Creative, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of photography, videography, or graphic design is advantageous.
  • Passion for travel, tourism, and wildlife experiences.
