Content Creator

As our Content Creator, you’ll be the creative storyteller capturing the real impact of our work in Uganda. You’ll craft compelling visual and written content that highlights our reforestation efforts, showcases farmer partnerships, and shares the broader story of climate resilience and sustainable development. Your work will engage global audiences across digital platforms, donor networks, and partner organizations.

• Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content in the field

• Create and publish engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and reports

• Develop visual storytelling materials for fundraising, outreach, and impact reporting

• Collaborate closely with local project teams, German headquarters, farmers, and communities

• Ensure brand consistency and clear messaging across all communications

• Support coverage of events such as planting seasons, farmer trainings, and community engagements

• Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, or journalism

• Strong writing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling (portfolio required)

• Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)

• Experience using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, or similar

• Knowledge of environmental, climate, or development topics is an asset

• A passion for sustainability, trees, and climate justice

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
