Job Description

ICEA LION Uganda is seeking a Commission Based Insurance Sales Executive

Responsibilities

1: CLIENT NEEDS ASSETSMENT: understand clients needs and guide them to buy a suitable life insurance policy.
2: CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Conducting after sales services.
3: POTENTIAL MARKET IDENTIFICATION: identify potential markets where we can get ideal clients.
4: MEETING SALES GOALS: achieve sales target set by the company/agency.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field will be a significant advantage.
You must possess a valid license from the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda (IRA). Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a target-driven environment is highly preferred.
The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to expertly assess client needs and provide suitable life insurance solutions. You must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven ability to work independently, identify potential clients, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and fluency in both English and Luganda or other local languages are essential for effective client engagement across different markets.
