Job Description

The job holder is responsible for accurately conducting activities that identify, correct and where applicable prevent revenue leakage/loss throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare adhoc/regular product performance reports using logical, reasonable cost allocations and assumptions, highlighting products with low margins and/or lower performance trajectory than planned.

  • Identify, report, and follow up on opportunities to improve cost allocation for more accurate product performance reports.

  • Ensure that new or adjusted prices have been developed with reasonable direct cost considerations and beneficial margins to improve the bank’s cost-to-income ratio.

  • Support the bank’s units, including but not limited to Audit and Risk Management, with revenue-assurance-related reports and information as required.

  • Close any reported audit findings of the unit and act to prevent re-occurrence.

  • Monitor and ensure daily execution of scheduled revenue reconciliation jobs, including tracking, fixing, and where applicable, escalating causes of failure.

  • Log, report, and follow up for recovery of identified revenue leakages.

  • Participate in and conduct pricing creation and adjustment activities.

  • Document and update revenue paths.

  • Carry out tests to ensure recommended configurations from revenue assurance are implemented by core banking.

  • Carry out tests to ensure service charges are correctly configured.

  • Create or update scheduled reconciliation jobs accordingly.

Requirements

  • Honors degree in statistics, computer science, economics or related field.

  • Professional certification or postgraduate degree in applicable areas such as CPA, ACCA, Data Analysis, Finance, or Strategy.

  • Developed verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly logical with the willingness and ability to learn new things.

  • Positive attitude, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to deal professionally with staff in different departments at all levels.

  • Unconditional positive regard for customers.

  • Commercial experience in any of the following: pricing, product development, and product performance.

  • Database and query optimization.

  • Business process automation using typical scripting languages such as Python or PHP.

  • Knowledge of banking products.

  • Ability to use artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to improve productivity.

  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis and visualization using SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
