Mandela National Stadium, commonly known as Namboole Stadium, is Uganda's premier multi-purpose sports facility, located on Namboole Hill in Kira Municipality, approximately 11 kilometers east of Kampala . Opened in 1997, it was built with a US$36 million grant from the Chinese government and originally named after the hill on which it sits . It was later renamed in honor of former South African President Nelson Mandela

We are supporting our client, Mandela National Stadium Limited to source competent candidates for the roles stated below; Our client, Mandela National Stadium has a mandate to promote sports and community development through provision of adequate sports facilities for both national and international competitions.

Mandela National Stadium plays an instrumental role in the development of sports in the country.

To boost the Mandela National Stadium’s capacity, management has identified 18 vacant positions to be filled by qualified personnel before the beginning of financial year 2026/2027.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and review company strategy, business plans, and performance frameworks.
Drive new business opportunities to increase revenue, brand visibility, and market position.
Develop and oversee marketing, publicity and branding strategies to position the stadium as apremier national and international destination.
Establish and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and investment collaborations.
Develop resource mobilization initiatives to generate funds for projects and infrastructuredevelopment.
Promote innovation, creativity, and a results- oriented culture across business units.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (with honours) in either Business Administration, Commerce, Sports Management or Management (Marketing) fromrecognized institution.
Masters in the above-mentioned fields from recognized Institution.
Postgraduate qualification in Sports Management related courses is an advantage.
Strong skills in strategic planning, team management, communication, networking, and ICT proficiency
