Job Description
As a Data Entrant, you will verify, clean, and re-enter physical and digital data submitted by implementing partners from 2023 to date to support project verification and alignment with the GEA Data Hub (central repository).
The objectives of this engagement are to verify physical attendance lists, consent forms, and seedling distribution records; rescan key physical records and update revised fields in CommCare; support farmer census activities to clean and validate system records; support community re-engagement to address gaps arising from system clean-up; and clear all outstanding data backlogs from implementing partners.

Responsibilities
Verify the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of physical data collection forms, including consent, attendance, training, seedling distribution, and action plans.
Cross-check physical records against corresponding online system entries to identify gaps, errors, and inconsistencies.
Re-scan physical documents and update revised consent fields in accordance with approved data collection tools and standards.
Enter missing, corrected, or newly required data points into the system, ensuring proper formatting and data quality.
Participate in farmer census activities to validate beneficiaries who received seedlings and reconcile records in the system.
Clear backlog data for consent, training, and distribution activities submitted by implementing partners.
Verify and validate farmer groups mapped for LCDA to ensure accurate linkage and reporting
Requirements
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in data collection and data entry using digital tools such as CommCare, ODK, or KoboCollect.
Candidates from the project implementation areas are preferred.
Strong data management skills, including form administration, data quality checks, validation, and basic reporting.
Good communication and community engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with field teams and community members.
Required Languages: Excellent command of written and knowledge of the local language(s) spoken in the area of implementation.
