Joint Clinical Research Centre

The Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC) is a premier Ugandan medical research and healthcare institution dedicated to the fight against HIV/AIDS and other infectious and non-communicable diseases, with a mission to conduct quality medical research, provide advanced care, and build capacity for health systems in Africa. Established in 1991 through a collaboration between the Ugandan Ministries of Health, Defence, and Makerere University, JCRC has grown into a globally respected center of excellence, renowned for groundbreaking research, innovative treatment approaches, and contributions to global health knowledge.
