About Rural Development Foundation Uganda

RDF specializes in availing affordable financial services in form of Agricultural loans, business loans, sanitation loans, energy loans, and complimentary services such as agri-based financial literacy and education support to the underserved rural poor addressing the community needs on poverty, ignorance, and diseases. The organization intends to address the financial exclusion gap and non-commercialized farming practices (subsistence) that majorly exist amongst the rural communities whilst integrating solutions that address ignorance and disease among the underserved rural poor. 

RDF empowers rural communities with affordable financial services, addressing poverty, ignorance, and disease. Through tailored loans, financial literacy, and education support, we bridge financial gaps and uplift underserved populations.

Job Description

Rural Development Foundation Uganda is looking for passionate individuals to join us as Field Agents based in Masaka. This critical role focuses on reconnecting with our clients and expanding our microfinance services to the underserved.

 

Please note that this is a temporary, contract-based position. Join us in our mission to empower rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Systematically re-engage and follow up with our clients.

  • Conduct fieldwork and travel locally within Masaka for client visits.

  • Accurately collect and record client data using a mobile device.

  • Serve as a community link, promoting RDF's mission and services.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must be a graduate or graduate student.

  • They should be resilient, a strong communicator, and committed to our mission.

  • You must be comfortable with extensive fieldwork and have a passion for community upliftment.

  • Prior experience in microfinance or data collection is a strong advantage.
