About Nakasero Hospital

Nakasero Hospital  commenced business in March 2009 offering Out-Patient services, with In-Patient services commencing in July 2009. It is owned by individual consultants, who practice at the hospital. The objective of the founders was to provide high quality and affordable medical care by leveraging skills of highly trained Ugandan consultants with access to state of the art equipment and technology, which before the establishment of Nakasero Hospital, were not available in Uganda, thus bringing quality healthcare closer to users who would have otherwise had to travel abroad for medical care. The facility caters for clients, in Uganda and the Great Lakes region, and countries to expand it’s global foot print the need for enhanced service provision to meet the current global trends in health- care.

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Officer will Assist in the planning, execution and optimization of the Hospital online marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers.

  • Plan, update the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, You Tube etc.)

  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness

  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.

  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience

  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends etc.)

  • Acquire insight on online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass communication with a bias in digital marketing

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in similar role

  • Experience in photography and cinematography is an added advantage.
