Job Description
TATA is seeking to recruit an Assistant Electrician.
Their primary job purpose revolves around installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components in various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times.
- Liaise with service Advisor to diagnose and repair all electrical vehicle faults.
- To care for customers’ vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
- To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly and economical way.
- To build a bank of knowledge and skills to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and effect permanent and complete repairs.
- To share skills and knowledge to develop others within the dealership.
- To enhance the reputation of TIL at every opportunity when interacting with others.
- Perform general servicing.
- Supervise & authorize tasks as directed by Manager
Requirements
- Graduate/ Diploma in automotive technology or equivalent
- Two years post qualification experience
- Ability to read and interpret electronic diagnostic machines
- Good trouble shooting
- Ability to read electrical drawings
