Job Description

The Infrastructure Remediation Administrator is responsible for the proactive remediation and verification of IT security risks and incidents reported by the Information Security team in the Risk Department. They will work closely with Information Security team in the Risk department that are responsible for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and reporting IT security risks.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance by corporate IT assets and services with requirements established by information security, business continuity and risk management policies.
Remediating vulnerabilities in I.T infrastructure (software & hardware).
Administering endpoint protection systems & act on the threats reported.
Administering Patch management systems & coordinating with Systems administrators to update applications automatically or on scheduled maintenance.
Review logs from Log Management systems and respond to actions required to mitigate threats identified.
Provide Technical support to the Information Security & Resilience team in responding to IT Security Incidents.
Maintains IT Risk Register and coordinates Risk forums.
Ensure security features of selected technology solutions and their deployment architecture is evaluated by the Information Security team.
Verify & test regular routines for backup of the technology environment and data.
I.T Department coordinator for resolution of IT Audit Findings & Internal Control Findings
Coordinate with Information Security & Business Continuity Officer in the preparation of IT Disaster Recovery Plan and conducting of Disaster Recovery tests.

Requirements

5 years of work experience in an enterprise IT environment as an IT Security, Network or Infrastructure professional/specialist.
Proven experience supporting IT security and implementing IT security technologies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field.
A professional Security Certification such as (SANS, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, CNSSP, CFFP, NSE).
Network Administration Certifications such as (CCNA /P).
IT Risk Management.
Vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation.
Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing.
Windows Administration / Linux Administration & Scripting, Network/Firewall Administration.
Structured Root Cause Analysis and problem management.
Report writing, communication, and presentation.
